Shanti Bhawan

Patra, a Dalit Mission, is a remote village area situated south of Hazaribag, a Jesuit Mission Station. Two of our Sisters started to live at Babupara, in October 1988. On 16th July 1994, they shifted to the newly built, Shanti Bhawan at Patra. The sisters conduct regular classes for women, children, youth and Mahila Mandals. They also run a Grihini School for the illiterate girls of the village. There is a small dispensary.
