Clarist Convent

At the invitation of Patna Diocese, on 6th of November 1972 we established a convent at Nawadah. It was through the interest of Rev Fr Devasia Chirayil. We took charge of the Hindi Medium Parish School which later became a full-fledged English Medium School affiliated to CBSE Board, and now two of our sisters are engaged in the teaching ministry there. The healing ministry in the dispensary is a boon to the people of this area. Religious instruction, preparation for Sacraments, strengthening the faith of the people by praying with them, taking care of the girls in the hostel, visiting villages regularly, are some of the other activities of the sisters over there.
